The American Conservative Union (ACU) today announced its endorsement of Jake LaTurner for election in Kansas to the United States House of Representatives in the 2nd District.

“Jake LaTurner is the right choice to represent the people of Kansas’s 2nd district in the United States Congress,” said ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp. “As Treasurer of the State of Kansas, Jake has led by example and understands the importance of working toward conservative solutions that benefit all Kansans. Throughout his tenure, Jake has been a responsible and consistent steward of the taxes paid by hard-working families and individuals, and has returned millions of dollars to them in unclaimed property. Additionally, Jake’s Pro-Life values, support for the 2nd amendment, and experience in reducing government waste and redundancies means he has the values that reflect the people he seeks to represent. ACU is proud to give him our endorsement and we urge 2nd Congressional District voters to pull the lever for Jake LaTurner.”
